These sculptures span the development of the can man / ma’am metal man motif. All members are one of a kind. There may be siblings, that is, they wear the same skin, but all are individually created. Most of these members are part of the artist’s collection and are not for sale. Many are elders o’ cankind.
A rolling pyramid of Painted Paper Twists was transported by wagon 5.5 miles from Arbutus to Mt.Royal / Artscape 2006. As a participant of "Autoeternative," sponsored by The American Visionary Art Museum, it was pulled by the artist and his daughter.
